About Sweet Cuppies
In 2008 “Sweet Cuppies” were born from the imagination of Artist and Illustrator Diana Evans. She is the creator and developer for all the “Sweet Cuppies” Products.
“I was at a family dinner one weekend and I had an idea for a cupcake doll....mostly because I was looking for a cupcake doll and couldn’t find one anywhere....so I took out some paper and a pen....Actually I think it was a napkin, a pen and a pair of scissors...cut out the first prototype and made a pattern....My Mom was excited about my dolls too so she helped create the first ever “Sweet Cuppie” doll.....
Once I saw that the pattern worked, I designed more and had custom fabric created. My own line of one of a kind dolls that are so cute they have to make you smile. I started the line with custom created art dolls. The first line that was released had hand painted faces. I then added to the line with new dolls and just sewed and embellished the new designs. These dolls are also available in special kits where you can “Make your own “Sweet Cuppies” Doll”
People started to pop by often and get really excited over my “Sweet Cuppies” and I am very excited to say that these are as original as a doll can come.....
